Veteran’s Day 2011

I may not have gone to war but I put on the green uniform for six years.  I learned how to use an M-16, drive a HMMWV (aka humvee), hump several miles wearing a chemical suit, and throw a grenade.  Yeah, I did those things.  The biggest thing I saw was the Mojave Desert for a month.  That was pretty tough for me, so I can imagine what it must feel like to be in the desert for much longer…sucky.  So here is to all our service men and women, for courageously doing your job and doing it well.  Thank you!
